Privacy, in plain English.

Short enough to actually read. That is deliberate. This page covers the whole site; the Fatherhood Drift Test has its own page with the detail specific to that assessment.

The summary

We collect what you type into a form, plus basic technical detail our hosting provider records automatically. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. Anything you mark as told in confidence stays that way. You can ask what we hold, correct it, or delete it at any time.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, request the 7-Day Practice, or take the Fatherhood Drift Test, we store what you type into that form, for example your first name, email address, and any optional answers you provide, such as age range, whether you are a father, the domain you want to work on, your interest in a circle, or what you say you are avoiding. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) also records your country and basic technical detail (device type, approximate location from IP, page visited) at the time of submission. That is the complete list, there are no hidden fields, no data bought from third parties, and no tracking pixels from ad networks.

How we use it

To send you what you asked for, the 7-Day Practice, your Fatherhood Drift Test result, one email when the first programme opens, and occasional field notes if you have agreed to receive them. Optional answers help us shape the programme and the first cohort. If you have separately agreed to research use, de-identified answers may inform aggregate, published findings, never with your name or email attached. Nothing here is used for advertising, profiling, or resale.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with: Cloudflare, our hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores the data and keeps basic technical logs; email-delivery tooling, solely to send you what you requested; and, if ever legally required, a court order or regulator. We do not have clinicians, coaches, partner organisations, or third-party integrations with access to your data · Nine Rites is a single, direct relationship between you and us.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no tracking cookies. Analytics, where used, is a privacy-preserving, cookie-free service (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not profile you or follow you across the web.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest through our hosting provider. Access to raw submissions is restricted to the founder. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you plainly if that ever changes materially for you.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as reasonably needed to do what you asked, deliver the rite, the result, or the update you requested, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. There is currently no automatic expiry beyond that.

Where your data lives

Nine Rites is based in Singapore. Data is stored and processed through Cloudflare's global infrastructure, which may mean it is processed outside your home country. Where that happens, it is still covered by this policy.

Children

Nine Rites is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Your rights and choices

You can ask at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw any consent you have given, reply to any email we send you, or use a delete link where one is provided (the Fatherhood Drift Test result page has its own). We will confirm once it is done. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; if you are in Singapore, the Personal Data Protection Commission is the relevant regulator.

Marketing communications

Any marketing or update emails include an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages, the thing you actually asked for, like a result or a rite delivery, are sent regardless of marketing preference, because they are not marketing.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so clearly on this page with an updated date. The current version is always the one posted here.
