Nine Rites. Not nine dramatic events.
The Rites are cross-domain undertakings that build capability, meet a proportionate trial, gather proof and return benefit to ordinary life. They are separate from the nine life domains and from shorter practices. Courage replaces Ordeal: suffering is not the virtue, and a sound decision to stop can be proof of judgement.

See the Rite →Capability

See the Rite →Courage · The Crossing

See the Rite →Self-Mastery
Choose deliberate conduct while anger, appetite or compulsion is genuinely active.
See the Rite →Brotherhood · The Brother
Show costly presence, truth, service and willingness to request help.
See the Rite →Protection
Make another person safer and more capable without creating dependence.
See the Rite →Building
Build, repair or maintain something useful that continues to function.
See the Rite →Stewardship
Transfer capability, authority or opportunity so another person can act independently.
See the Rite →Transmission · The Fire
Teach knowledge, relinquish real authority and leave something that continues without you.
See the Rite →Your life does not need another insight. It needs a threshold.
